We have had a few Redheads lately!!  Ellie is a petite girl, who is about 18 months old.  She was going to be used for breeding, and has already had a litter of puppies.  Her owner moved and could not take the dogs with him - thank goodness!  Ellie was chained up in the yard, and that has been her life for the past year.  She is currently bunking with Ally and the two are very cute together.  She plays well with the other dogs, behavior with cats unknown.  Ellie is another  girl that needs some guidance and rules. Her life at the end of a chain has not taught her anything.  She is sweet and has a good demeanor, but has a bit of an independent spirit.  We feel she has not really had a bonding experience with a human, as her human only wanted her for breeding.  We would love Ellie to have a real home - where she is considered part of the family.  She will need some good obedience training, but whoever puts some time and effort into this girl will have a life long friend and companion.
