Jerry
is a beautiful dark red boy,
who's people turned him over to a
local shelter
because "they didn't want
him anymore." In his past life he
was
kept as an outside dog only and had no
idea what it was like to be a part of
the family. When Jerry's
foster Mom took him home the stairs,
tile floors and even a dog bed was
extremely new and frightening. Jerry
loves to be inside now and is
fully housebroken if kept on a regular
schedule. Although he’s come a
long
way, he is still unsure of himself and
needs reassurance so he understands
what a good boy he truly is. He
just needs to feel safe. Jerry
is
fantastic with cats and gets along
great with other dogs both at home and
at
the dog park. You’d never know
he is 12 because he plays like a
puppy. He
loves to play fetch and loves toys.
He is protective of his toys so we are
working on how to share. Jerry
is the most loving dog you’ll ever
meet and
has a lot of life left in him.
We would love to see him go to a
loving
forever home like he so deserves.
