3/31/10-UPDATE: We have had some concerns about Max lately, as he has been sneezing quite a bit and sometimes has what seems like a runny nose. After a few rounds of antibiotics and keeping a close eye on him, the Vet found a lump in his left nostril....which has already gotten a little bigger. We were hoping that Max just had some kind of nasty sinus infection, but the antibiotics have not done any good and with the presence of the lump, the Vet feels the lump is cancerous. Max has been in a wonderful foster home, where he is happy, and very loved. They asked us if Max could stay with them for however long he has left. Thank you Brownie and Bro for taking such good care of Max.

Hi, my name is Max and I am 9 years old.  My people took me to a shelter because "they didn't have time for me anymore."   I'm  not sure what that means......I think I am a very good boy. I know not to potty in the house, I enjoy the company of other dogs....but I haven't been around those critters I have heard people talk about that are called cats, so I don't know if I like them or not.  I love all people and would really enjoy having someone that would enjoy going for walks with me. My previous family did have me stay mostly in the house when they would go to work, so I really do not like being outside by myself for long. I will bark to let you know it is  time for  me to come inside. I am basically a quiet boy, who they say has good manners, I don't chew things that are not mine. I just want a place to relax and enjoy my senior years. I promise to be a good friend and companion  in return!  Oh, and I like to play fetch also!
