Sandy
is a beautiful 12 year old blonde
Golden Retriever in outstanding health
with a smile and eyes that will melt
your heart.
Her previous owners surrendered
her because she is extremely afraid of
fireworks and thunder and was
destructive at one time and they
didn't know how to work with her.
We have been working with her
to try and calm her of her fears.
We've learned that with proper
medication and lots of patience, love
and hugs she does just fine as long as
she knows she is safe.
She is crate trained and does
very well but if there is a thunder
storm and doesn't have her medication
she will try and escape.
This is typical when dogs are
afraid of loud noises and their only
goal is to escape the loud noises.
When left alone and medicated,
the TV on and a toy, she does fine.
She is excellent with dogs,
cats, children and any other person
she comes in contact with.
You would never guess she is 12
because she can keep up with the
younger dogs to no end.
She loves her toys and loves to
fetch and can play for hours!!
I believe she would do best
with a retired couple or person that
can be with her most of the time.
Won't you please give this
sweet Angel a forever home as she
deserves only the best.
