Sugar ---- ADOPTED

Can you say HIGH ENERGY…….just say Sugar! This bundle of energy is a year old, and definitely has her own mind! Sugar was released to CGRR from an owner who said she was “too much” for the kids. Sugar was kept as an outside dog, so – when someone went out to play with her, she was a wild child. She has actually had a little obedience training, but being an outside pooch, there are no rules or boundaries, so Sugar pretty much did what she wanted. She loves playing with other dogs, but she is an “in your face” dog, and does not always properly greet. This girl does not know how to relax and really enjoy getting affection. She always seems to be on the move. We were told that she is not housetrained, but she is kennel trained…..she has not had any accidents. Sugar is not a dog that is going to go to a home and just settle in – she will need some work. She needs a calm, assertive owner – who also has a sense of humor! She needs work on the leash, and needs work in general on some doggie manners. Because she does not understand personal boundaries, we feel Sugar would be too much for young children. She cannot be off leash in an unsecure area….she will take off. Steve will throw in a training session at your home, to help get this girl off to a good start. She is going to need more sessions, so he has offered 4 sessions for the price of two! We want to set this girl up for a win! Sugar has lots of potential…..she just needs someone to help bring out the best in her…..could that be you?
