Mocha

Meet Mocha, a very sweet 7-8 year old girl, who came to CGRR last spring. She had been used for breeding, although we were told she only had a couple of litters. Her life was not the best as she was kept pretty isolated, and definitely not part of the family. She was fostered for a while, by Jerry and Lorene, who showed this girl what a real home was like.

She did get adopted and was with a wonderful family we knew. We thought this would be her furrever home, but because Mocha had been kept isolated, she was not prepared for a busy family life, and unfortunately, she was not comfortable around the toddler.

Mocha is back in foster care, and she is such a great dog. She is good in the house, doesn't get into things that are not hers. She loves going for walks, but needs some work on the leash. She thinks she needs to say hi to anyone she sees- be it human or another dog. She loves belly rubs and being brushed. She can be a bit of a princess, as she doesn't like going potty on a wet lawn.... she will wait, thank you!

Mocha absolutely loves her woobies.... the more she has around, the better! She will gather them up and store them on a bed. This girl has a fun personality, and she will “talk" to you when she is excited, or if you are gone for a while, she has lots to say when you get home!

We are working to help get Mocha back to a healthy weight. She needs to lose about 15lbs, as she weighs around 84lbs.

This girl will make a wonderful friend/companion.  We would love to find her furrever home. She would do best in a home with older or no children. If you think Mocha may be the one for you, please send your application to utgoldentails@cs.com
