Nala -- ADOPTED
Nala: Queen, Lion... This big, confident 6-year-old girl (she said she's big boned) is a beauty! Confident, large, and in charge - she weighed in at 85lbs- she has a great personality. She has also had some good training, walks well on leash, is very smart, and will perform with the right handler. Nala is housetrained and loves people.
She is good with older kids and adults, but toddlers or younger children not so much, so Nala needs a home with no kids under 8 years old. Plays fetch fairly well, but enjoys being the "queen" and hanging with her people.

Rigby -- ADOPTED
This big boy is 6 years old, weighs 85 pounds, and is very handsome! He came from an owner whose job title changed, and now she has to travel quite a bit. Rigby was well taken care of and loved, and this decision was not easy. He has a strong temperament but will warm your heart when you get to know him. A dog-savvy owner would be best for this boy, as he can have a strong personality. Understands basic commands and has done very well with structure and routine here at the rescue. He is strong on lead, and we will work with him on that once it gets a bit cooler.

Elsa -- ADOPTED
Elsa is not a "Princess" even though she looks like one. She is more of a "Tomboy" when it comes to playing. She dishes out more than the boys can take. Full of life and exuberance, this 1-year-old is quite a busy girl. Loves to fetch and tug.
Elsa is housetrained and crate trained. She is still a pup and would benefit from some basic training. She will need to learn rules and boundaries.
Quick to learn and understands some basic commands, but strong on leash and easily distracted. Gets along with most of the dogs here but does sometimes display dominant characteristics.

Trip -- ADOPTED
Trip is a sweet 3-year-old girl - sibling to Blue. Brought up in the same environment as Blue, Trip doesn’t know much. She does know she wants to be in your lap.....if you sit down, she is there! She is a happy girl, who enjoys playing ball. She is a bit insecure and will sometimes grab on to your arm, like a puppy.
Trip is quiet, good with other dogs. She is small as well....we call them "pocket Goldens"....just the right cuddle size!

Little Girl Blue -- ADOPTED
This vivacious little girl is 3 years old. In her previous home she was with several other Goldens, including her siblings in a kind of a hoarding situation. Because of this, her social skills with humans were limited and she tends to be a bit cautious of new people. On the other hand, being around 17 other dogs she was well socialized with other dogs. Timid at first, once she gets to know you, she can be affectionate and quite a Velcro dog. She tends to want to be where you’re at. She is a smaller golden, what we refer to as a field golden, weighing between 45-50 pounds.

Nash -- ADOPTED
Nash is a beautiful 2-year-old boy who has had two homes already. We don’t know anything about his first home. The woman who brought him to us only had him for 6 months. She did not socialize him at all with other dogs, as she was nervous about what his reaction would be. She told us that Nash was a little too much dog for her.

Bella -- ADOPTED
Bella is a beautiful 18-month-old girl who came to CGRR from owners whose work schedules changed. Bella was being left alone too much, and they wanted more for her.
We were told that her favorite thing to do is to play with other dogs! She loves dogs, and she plays hard. She has gone out with a 98lb dog, and is sometimes too much for him!
Bella has a good demeanor, is very sweet, but she really needs some basic training. She didn't have many rules in her previous home, and she is a very active girl.

Big Blue -- ADOPTED
We thought we had a home for Blue, but things did not work out. Blue needs a home with a dog savvy owner, and he needs clear rules and boundaries. This boy has a quiet but powerful personality. You can cuddle with him and he will melt your heart, but then when you're done, he gets overly playful and has some bad habits that he learned from his, original home, that can overwhelm a novice dog owner.
