Ricky

Ricky is a very sweet 5-year-old English Cream Golden. He was returned to CGRR due to his having separation anxiety.

Ricky was adopted as a pup, and the folks who adopted him were active, going on lots of walks/hikes, going camping, and keeping him busy. They had a couple of kids, and their routine changed, as it does with young ones.

We are not sure what exactly changed, but we feel that Ricky may not have been getting exercised enough, and kind of took a back seat. He did live with 2 other dogs, but that did not help his anxieties.

He would get destructive when left alone. He needs to gain some self-confidence.

Ricky is a great dog, very sweet, housetrained, good with other dogs, kids, he loves everyone. We feel he would do well in an active home where he gets regular exercise and perhaps with people who work from home. He also enjoys being with other dogs.
